Kitchen and bathroom renovations, done in the right order.
We handle the whole room — demo, prep, waterproofing, tile, vanities and fixtures — across Toronto and the GTA.
Bathrooms
The room where shortcuts show up three years later.
A bathroom is a waterproofing project with tile on top of it. Everything that goes wrong later — loose tile, dark grout lines, a soft spot in the hallway ceiling below — traces back to what happened before the tile went on.
We rebuild the assembly properly: backer board or membrane on the walls, a bonded pan in the shower, sloped correctly to the drain, silicone at every change of plane. Then we tile it.

Kitchens, from backsplash to full rebuild.

- Backsplashes: subway, mosaic, slab, herringbone

- Island and peninsula tile cladding

Budget ranges · GTA 2026
What people actually spend.
These are market ranges for the Greater Toronto Area, not quotes. Your number depends on the size of the room, the tile you pick, and what we find behind the wall.
| Scope | What it covers | Typical GTA range |
|---|---|---|
| Powder room refresh | Floor tile, vanity, fixtures, paint-ready finish | $6,000–$10,000 |
| Full bathroom renovation | Gut, waterproof, tile, vanity, fixtures | $15,000–$30,000 |
| Primary ensuite | Custom tile, dual vanity, glass, heated floor | $30,000–$70,000+ |
| Kitchen backsplash | Prep, tile, grout, silicone — usually one day | $900–$2,800 |
| Full kitchen renovation | Cabinets, counters, floor, backsplash, trades | $40,000–$90,000+ |
Ranges reflect published 2026 GTA renovation market data and our own project history. Labour is typically 40–60% of a Toronto bathroom budget. Always keep a 10–15% contingency for what is behind the walls in an older home.
FAQ
Questions we get every week
Do I need a permit for a bathroom renovation in Toronto?
If you are replacing finishes in the same footprint, usually not. Once you move plumbing, add circuits or change structure, the City of Toronto typically requires a building permit and an ESA inspection. We tell you which side of that line your project falls on before we start.
Can you work while I still live in the house?
Yes, and most of our clients do. We protect the route to the work area, seal the room, and clean at the end of each day. If you only have one bathroom, we plan the sequence to shorten the days it is fully out of service.
Who handles plumbing and electrical?
Licensed trades we work with regularly. We coordinate the schedule so nobody is waiting on anybody, and you are not the one chasing three phone numbers.
Get a real number before you commit.
We measure on site, check the substrate, and give you a written scope with the materials, the prep, and the labour broken out. No pressure, no charge.
