Ceramic, porcelain, marble and stone tile installation.

Tile work
Every surface, every format.

Large-format & slabs
600×1200 mm and larger. Back-buttered, levelling-clip set, with movement joints where they belong.

Showers & wet areas
Bonded membrane, sloped pans, niches and benches built into the waterproofing, not stuck on after.

Backsplashes
Subway, mosaic, zellige, slab. Clean scribes around outlets, cabinets and window returns. Usually one day.

Patterns & mosaics
Herringbone, chevron, basketweave, penny round. Dry-laid first so the cuts land where you want them.

Marble & natural stone
Book-matching, mitred edges, and the right sealer for the stone you chose. Handled like the material it is.

Heated floors
Electric mat or cable systems embedded under tile, tested before and after the mortar goes down.
The standard
Lippage is not a style choice.
Run your hand across a finished floor. If you can feel the edges, the prep was rushed. We work to TCNA-style tolerances and we would rather spend an extra day on the substrate than hand you a floor that catches a mop.
- Substrate flattened before layout, not corrected with mortar
- Full mortar coverage — we pull tiles to check it
- Consistent joint width, laid out from the sightline that matters
- Movement joints at perimeters and over control joints
- Grout colour sampled with your tile before we commit

FAQ
Questions we get every week
What does tile installation cost per square foot in the GTA?
In 2026, standard floor tile installation in the Greater Toronto Area generally runs about $10 to $18 per square foot for labour, while backsplashes and complex patterns are priced higher per square foot because of the cutting and layout involved. Large-format slabs and natural stone sit at the top of that range.
How much extra tile should I order?
Ten percent for a straight lay, fifteen percent for diagonal or herringbone, and a little more for large-format or heavily veined stone where you want to select pieces. Order it all in one batch so the shade lot matches.
Can you tile over my existing tile?
Sometimes, if the existing tile is well bonded, flat, and the added height does not break your door clearances or transitions. More often we recommend removing it — it lets us see and fix the substrate, which is where the real risk lives.
Do you do commercial tile work?
Yes. Retail, offices, restaurants and common areas across the GTA, scheduled around your operating hours.
Get a real number before you commit.
We measure on site, check the substrate, and give you a written scope with the materials, the prep, and the labour broken out. No pressure, no charge.
